There’s nothing better on a cold, rainy December day than a pair of flannel pajamas! I don’t know about all of you, but I am getting so excited to cozy up by the fire in my soft Christmas jammies, sip hot chocolate, and watch Christmas movies!
Snooze in style with a pair of monogrammed flannel PJs from target! Target has tons of ADORABLE Christmas flannel pajamas to choose from and they are as soft as any high end pair that I’ve seen. You will LOVE!
Here are a few of my pj favorites…
1 cup of corn starch
2 cups of baking soda
1.25 cups of cold water
Combine ingredients in bowl and stir until smooth.
Cook over low-medium flame, stirring constantly, until mixture resembles mashed potatoes.
Remove from heat and let cool in a separate container, either covered with a damp towel or mostly covered with a plate or lid.
When dough has cooled… pretend you are the pizza man and throw the dough a few times(this is totally optional).
Roll the dough out until it is about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut the dough into shapes with cookie cutters.
Punch a small hole near the top of each tag to hang.
Let dry for a couple of days...
or bake @200 degrees for 2 hours.
You can choose to leave the surface of your dough smooth, or you can make impressions in the dough with clean rubber stamps, small objects, pine branches, your children's hands... just about anything that will leave a clean impression.
For the Gingerbread Garland- add 2 tsp of molasses to the ingredients before cooking to mash potato stage. Sprinkle with cinnamon before baking.
